After discussion amongst the officers these are the Guild Rules for Family Ties .
Please take time to read and understand them . These rules are effective immediately .

All members are accepted into the guild on a 4 week trial , After this period you will be either accepted as a full member or asked to leave.

We operate a zero tolerance policy on harassment or racism , If your caught your out , No exceptions , No second chances .

Anybody caught scamming or damaging the guilds good name will be removed.

Guild runs will be organised and led by a guild officer . These will be entered into the guilds calendar on the homepage . These runs are first come first served . Only sign up for a run if you can attend and stay for the duration . Be aware some instances can take several hours .

If you are on a run for a specific item then you must inform the party leader at the start of the run . If it drops and nobody else has declared an interest in it then its yours . Do not use this for sharding items or items for alts . Separate shard runs or twink runs can be arranged for this .

If an enchanter is present on the run any BOP items not needed can be sharded and /roll ' d on by the entire group . Again this will be pointed out at the start of the run . If you dont need the item then PASS as the enchanter will need when everyone has passed.

Looting bodies must only be done once the entire group is out of combat . It is very irritating to have boxes appear mid fight.

No Boosting , We dont boost people through levels or instances . If your too low for a particular instance we wont take you . Same with questing we will not help you quest out of your level range.

We dont approve of begging , If you are found begging ingame then you will be removed . This also applies to bugging guildies to loan you money . We hope to have a loan fund set up at some stage to help pay for mounts for main chars only no alts please . It is a short term loan only and it will need to be paid back quickly .

Inactivity , If your account becomes inactive for 3 months you will be marked as Inactive . Any period of longer than 3 months you must notify a ranked officer of your intention to avoid removal .
These rules are subject to change at any time . Any such changes will be posted as an annoucement on the main page .
